How it works

The VAT is decided before you press send.

Enter your client’s country and VAT number. Ordo does the rest and shows its working, so an invoice to Berlin and one to Split are both right the first time.

  1. 1

    Checks the VAT number

Every EU business number is validated against VIES before the invoice is issued, and the result is kept with a timestamp in case anyone asks.

  2. 2

    Picks the treatment

Domestic, reverse charge, OSS, export or the small-business exemption, worked out from where you and your client are and whether either of you is registered.

  3. 3

    Writes the legal wording

Every field Article 226 requires and the statutory note in your client’s language. Reduced rates can be set line by line.

The whole life of an invoice

From the first quote to the last payment.

Everything that happens to an invoice, in one place: quote it, issue it, deliver it, get it paid and report it.

  • An EU VAT engine

The right treatment for every client in all 27 member states: domestic, reverse charge, OSS, export, the small-business exemption and the cross-border SME scheme. Standard, reduced and zero rates, mixed line by line on one invoice.

  • VIES validation

Every EU VAT number is checked against the official register before you invoice, and the check is kept as proof.

  • Paid by card

Send a secure payment link and let clients settle online. Partial payments keep a running balance.

  • Reminders, drafted for you

One click writes a polite, specific reminder for a late invoice. You read it, adjust it and send it.

  • Invoices that arrive

Sent by email with the PDF and a link to the invoice online, and you can see when your client opens it.

  • Multi-currency

Invoice in 15 currencies. The ECB rate is fixed on the day of issue and every report adds up in euro.

  • Croatian eRačun and fiscalization

Domestic business invoices leave as a structured eRačun through FINA, with KPD codes. Receipts to consumers are fiscalized with JIR, ZKI and a QR code, and incoming eRačuni land in your inbox.

  • Quotes and credit notes

Quotes with their own numbering turn into invoices in one click. Credit notes reference the invoice they correct.

  • Recurring invoices

Retainers and subscriptions bill themselves on the schedule you set.

  • Invoices in 23 languages

Each client reads the invoice in their own language, with the legal wording in the form the law requires.

  • Sealed PDFs

An issued invoice is frozen, and can be sealed with your own certificate and a trusted timestamp, so anyone can check it was not changed.

  • Reports on what you invoiced

The EC Sales List, filed in Croatia as the ZP form, prepared straight from your EU invoices, with a VAT summary by treatment and what is still owed by age. All of it exports to CSV.

  • Your whole team

Invite as many people as you need. Everyone works in one workspace with the same clients and invoices, and every seat is priced the same.

Hrvatska · Fiskalizacija 2.0

In Croatia, the whole legal chain.

Issuing the invoice is where the obligation starts, not where it ends. Ordo also receives, fiscalizes and reports, so nothing is left for a second tool.

  1. 1 January 2026

Businesses in the VAT system issue and receive eRačun. Everyone else has to be able to receive them.

  2. 1 January 2027

Businesses outside the VAT system, paušalni obrt included, start issuing eRačun to other businesses.

  3. Every month

Payments received are reported to Porezna uprava by the 20th of the following month.

What Ordo handles

  • Issues eRačun through FINA, as UBL 2.1 to the Croatian specification, with KPD codes
  • Receives incoming eRačun and fiscalizes them within five working days
  • Reports rejected eRačun to Porezna uprava
  • Sends payment reports before the 20th of the month
  • Fiscalizes receipts to consumers with JIR, ZKI and a QR code

Ordo or MIKROeRAČUN?

Porezna uprava offers MIKROeRAČUN free of charge. For a business with a handful of invoices and no plans to grow into VAT it can be enough. This is where it stops.

All 27 member states

Does Ordo work in your country?

Ordo produces a legally valid invoice in all 27 EU member states: correct VAT treatment, every mandatory field and the statutory wording in your buyer’s language. That part does not vary by country.

What varies is delivery. Some states require domestic invoices to travel through a national platform. Those rules bind domestic supplies only, so cross-border EU invoicing works from every country, without exception.

Ordo has one plan, billed per seat: 19€ per seat per month, or 199€ per seat per year. A seat is you or anyone you invite. Every account starts with a 14-day full-access free trial - no credit card required. All prices are in EUR.

You pay for every seat on your team. Add someone during a billing period and the new seat is charged straight away, only for the time left in that period. Remove someone and the current period is not refunded, but the seat is not billed again. Each renewal is billed for the seats you have on that day, and removing one person and inviting another in the same period costs nothing extra.

Yes. Ordo handles the national small-business exemption automatically - your invoices are issued at 0% VAT with the correct legal note. When you enter the VAT system, you record the date in your settings: every invoice from that day on is issued with VAT, and the ones before it keep the exemption.

All 27 EU member states, with real-time VIES validation for B2B clients, OSS for digital services and goods sold to consumers in other member states, and correct treatment for exports outside the EU. In Croatia Ordo also covers the full Fiscalization 2.0 chain: eRačun through FINA with KPD classification, incoming eRačun, payment reporting and fiscalized receipts to consumers.

Yes. Ordo knows the standard, reduced and zero rates each member state operates, and you can pick the right one line by line on the same invoice. Which rate a particular product attracts is your call, or your accountant's - Ordo offers the legal options and records the choice rather than guessing.

You already have to be able to receive eRačun, and from 1 January 2027 you must also issue them to other businesses - paušalni obrt included. Businesses in the VAT system have issued them since 1 January 2026. Invoices to private customers stay under the existing fiscalization rules, and Ordo handles both.

After 14 days you subscribe and continue where you left off, paying for the seats on your team. No credit card is needed during the trial, so nothing is charged automatically. Your data stays safe either way.

Ordo is built EU-first: your data is stored in the EU, used only to provide the service, and never sold. It reaches only the service providers named in our Privacy Policy. Analytics run only if you opt in. See our Privacy Policy and GDPR Rights pages for full details.
